After more than a decade helping Kiwi businesses (from scrappy startups to established enterprises) find clarity, I realised HR had become too much about policies and not enough about people. So, I launched Compass Consultancy to flip the script. Now, it’s about bright ideas, real humans, and workplaces that actually work.

Why “Compass”?

Because every organisation hits crossroads, during growth, change, or those messy people challenges no one likes to talk about. I’m here to help you navigate them with clarity, curiosity, and compassion (and yes, with a little less “recalculating” than your car GPS).

Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for cutting through the fluff, asking the questions no one else will, and keeping things human (and sometimes a bit cheeky). Clients say I balance strategy with playfulness,  and that’s intentional, because real change sticks when people feel comfortable. I’m fueled by great coffee, nerdy strategy games, and an ongoing mission to help Kiwi workplaces build cultures that don’t suck.
